Something you should know is that we are watching videos that we had to make about democracy in my class today. I got to class right on time, which means that half the class was already here and signed up for all the first presentation slots, so I'm eleventh and sinking lower in my seat. Mostly what I'm dreading is that my last frame is a picture of myself because I couldn't find a picture of a teacher that I liked and it was late and I ran out of time. So I said to myself at 11:55pm "I'm a teacher...I can use a picture of myself" and I did that. Now I really wish that I would have used that picture of a teacher from google. Hindsight is 20-20 on that one.
No matta, nothing can keep me down for long. And I kind of feel like everyone feels that way a little bit.
In other very important news, I literally went to Las Vegas this weekend with Bryce, Jason, Melinda and many other new friends! I think I'll do a photo essay later once everyone has uploaded all their pics to the interweb. I can't wait.

One picture was taken after Melinda and I: saw the poster of Tim and Faith and all-of-a-sudden had a burning desire to see the show even though it was half way over; got stopped by an employee at the Venetian who was convinced we weren't 21 and tried to sell us a "three night, four day stay for FREE"; ran through the casino for ten minutes asking four employees where the box-office is; realizing we didn't know what "the tables" were and therefore couldn't turn left at them; finding out that the only tickets available for either show were $263, and having our hearts broken. But don't worry, this really only made the trip more fun. BONDING, hello. It was almost enough to be in the same building as Faith Hill. Let's be honest, we loved it.
Throw in a general obsession with Celine Dion, "My Heart Will Go On" and "The Star-Spangled Banner" being two of the Bellagio fountain shows, watching Modern Family in the back of Bryce's car and brushing our teeth together, and you've got the best weekend of our relatively short lives.
My presentation is over and it went a lot better than I thought it would. And now it's in the past.
I literally cannot wait to put pictures of this weekend up. So stay tuned, because you are going to love them.

Also, I ate a real dinner two days in a row. Can you believe it, because I can't!
