About Me

I'm an elementary education major at BYU. I love learning, being silly, and making people smile. I'm your average five foot nothin' college student, I guess you could say. I love my life. I love my church.

Knowledge is Power

Today was my very first day of school. At least, it was my very first day of summer school. No, I am not dumb...I actually chose to take classes in the summer. And it's awesome.

My first class wasn't a class at all. It was work. At 7:00 am. That was fun. I didn't forget how to do my job over the summer, so that's good.

My second (first) class was "Expository Writing for Elementary Education." I think I'm going to enjoy that one. My professor seems to know what she's talking about, and that is something I really appreciate. I feel that I will learn from her seeds of knowledge she is passing on to me.

Third (second) was Doctrine and Covenants. That, my friends, is going to be a cool class. I can't wait to learn more about church history.

Needless to say, I'm going to be doing a lot of writing this semester. Hopefully all goes well.

I also was able to finally hang with my lovely sister, Allison Jean. We had a grand old time, full of listening, talking, and laughter. Slash, laughing at some kid who was trying to get Fry Sauce for about ten minutes. It was hilarious.

Anyway, overall, I'd say it was a good day.
