About Me

I'm an elementary education major at BYU. I love learning, being silly, and making people smile. I'm your average five foot nothin' college student, I guess you could say. I love my life. I love my church.

On Aging

Well folks, I did it. I went to the midnight showing of the final Harry Potter movie. It was definitely good. I got these super cool 3D glasses, which makes this whole excursion totally worth it.

Yes, my wand is a knitting needle.

So, I think I've expressed this before, but I really do enjoy midnight showings. There is just something so fun going to see a movie for the very first time with a bunch of nerds people who are really enthusiastic about the movie. The clapping when the underdog takes a stand, the laughing at things that aren't even funny...I love it.

Except for, I think that I'm aging. I was just so sleepy. I stayed awake, and I had a great time. But I was pooped. And I was really tired today whilst being at work and class running on three hours of sleep. Some people do that all the time, but I do not. I like my bed; I like my rest.

Will this stop me from going to any midnight showing ever again?! Have no fear, I don't think so. But probably less. We'll see how life pans out.

Here are my plans for the rest of the weekend:
  • sleep in
  • finish studying for my Doctrine and Covenants midterm
  • take my Doctrine and Covenants midterm
  • watch Forrest Gump and The Brother's Grimm in my pjs.
  • work out, if I'm good...
  • do laundry?
  • do homework?
Mostly, I just feel like being lazy. Because, readers, I am tired. And the days are getting slower because I'm getting closer to going home. Which makes the days go slower. So, I think I'm going to take a movie break and veg. The good news is that I bought kettle corn. Boy, do I love kettle corn. And, it's corn, so that counts as a vegetable! And sometimes, you can count snickers as protein because it has peanuts, right?

Let's hope so. At least just for today.

27 days, 13 hours, 51 minutes
