About Me

I'm an elementary education major at BYU. I love learning, being silly, and making people smile. I'm your average five foot nothin' college student, I guess you could say. I love my life. I love my church.

Embarrassing things

Sometimes I have secret things that I do that are way too embarrassing to tell anyone. The types of things where people say "Haha, you know when people do _________" and I just say "Haha, yeah..." and I don't even let them know that I do ___________. I, of course, am not going to tell you what these things are. Because do I keep them a secret because they're embarrassing, or because it is way too fun to have a couple harmless secrets?

You will probably never know.

Sometimes I read other people's blogs and am so so impressed with how creative people are! Sometimes I read other people's blogs and am blown away by how angry they are.
Sometimes I read other people's blogs and laugh out loud.

But mostly, I just like writing in my blog while I'm at work.

My sister gave me some super cute jellies. You know, the plastic shoes? Well, it was super nice of her. Unfortunately, I lost about three quarts of blood on the way to church yesterday because they cut into my feet. Luckily I love battle wounds because I feel they make good conversation starters. No harm done. Add that to my second to last accutane appointment/pregnancy-test-blood-draw and I am safe from vampires for a while. I wish that the people at the lab would take one good look at me and say "I can tell from looking at you that you're not pregnant. Now go, go away!" That would be nice. Then my right arm wouldn't look like Swiss cheese.

Something you should know is that I'm looking for a good book to read. I stopped mid-book because I couldn't handle all the frivolous drama. Actually, I paused mid-book because Caitlin wanted to read it before she left on her mission. Let's just say her deadline is much more pressing than mine, so I relented. I'm looking for a book that puts a smile on my face, but also makes me think and feel fulfilled after reading it. I'm already reading my scriptures, so you don't have to suggest that. But I'll suggest it to you! Read some scriptures, here's a link.

Anyways, I found a new flower that I like today. They are called craspedia, look how pretty they are:

I know what you're thinking...they look like cute little balls of pollen and fun! Yes, my thoughts exactly.

Maybe it feels like everyone around me (Becca) is getting married and I let myself look at some wedding boards on pinterest today. So sue me. But thanks to pinterest, I have come to know many more flowers and learned that baby's breath makes a beautiful bouquet!

I have a whole board devoted to flowers, and it's my favorite board by far.

Today I got to eat creamy chicken over noodles with Allie my pallie. It was so much fun. She brought me the most delicious chocolate ever and we talked and laughed and ate. Sisters are so wonderful. Because no matter how different you are, you love each other and take care of each other and that's all there is to it.
